Vegetable Chapati Noodles

Vegetable Chapati Noodles, this is one of the easy to make recipe with left over chapatis. But the difficulty lies in the preparation part :D. We will require little patience in cutting the vegetables and chapatis. If the preparation part is over, then we can make the dish really quick. The method of making this dish is similar to the noodles recipe but this is a healthier version of it using chapatis instead of noodles. Vegetable Chapati Noodles

Preparation Time : 30 Minutes | Cooking Time : 15 Minutes | Serves : 3


Chapati - 5 No.
Onion - 2 No.
Tomato - 2 No.
Capsicum - 1 No.
Carrot - 2 No.
Cabbage (Chopped) - 1/2 Cup
Ginger Garlic Paste - 1 tsp.
Chili Powder - 1/4 tsp.
Tomato Ketchup - 1 tsp.
Soya Sauce - 1/4 tsp.
Oil - 2 tbsp.
Salt - to taste

1. Keep all the ingredients ready.
a. Cut the chapati into length wise strips.
b. Slice the onions length wise.
c. Finely chop the tomatoes
d. Cut the carrots into length wise strips.
e. Chop the cabbage length wise.
f. Cut the capsicum into length wise strips.
2. Heat oil in a pan and add the sliced onions.
3. Saute the onions till transparent. Add ginger garlic paste and saute till the raw smell goes off. Now , add the chopped tomatoes.
4. Saute till the tomatoes are soft. Add chili powder and salt. Mix well. Add all the vegetables except capsicum and mix well.
5. Add capsicum and mix well. Add the tomato ketchup and soya sauce. Mix it well.
6. Add the chapati strips and mix well. Saute it on high flame for 2 to 3 minutes by continuously stirring it and then turn off the flame.

Tasty Vegetable Chapati Noodles is ready to serve. Serve it with tomato ketch up.


  • You can add red chili sauce instead of chili powder. Since I didn't have the chili sauce, I added chili powder.
  • You can add pepper powder as a final touch. As my son will not eat spicy food, I did not add pepper powder at the end.
