Mudakathan Keerai Dosai - Balloon Vine Leaves Dosa

Mudakathan Keerai Dosai - Balloon Vine Leaves Dosa, this a healthy breakfast recipe. I knew before that mudakathan keerai is good for joint pains but never knew we can make dosa using it. While I was talking to one of my friend, she was saying about this dosa which she makes once in a week. So, I got the recipe from her and tried it with slight variation. It came out really well and we couldn't taste the bitterness of the leaves. So, I am also making this dosa often these days. Lets see how to make this easy crispy dosa recipe.

Mudakathan Keerai Dosai - Balloon Vine Leaves Dosa

Preparation Time : 5 Minutes | Cooking Time : 15 Minutes | Serves : 4

Idli Dosa Batter - 2 Cups

Garlic - 3 Cloves
Ginger - 1/2 inch piece
Cumin Seeds - 1/4 tsp.

1. Heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds. When the cumin seeds sizzle, add the chopped garlic and ginger. Saute it till the raw smell goes off.
2. Add the cleaned and washed mudakathan keerai and fry for one or two minutes until the leaves shrinks.
3. Add the keerai mix to a blender and grind it to a paste.
4. Add the ground keerai paste to the idli dosa batter and mix it well.
5. Heat a dosa tawa and add two ladle full of batter. Spread it in circular motion to make dosa.
6. Let it to cook on one side and flip it to the other side and cook it till crisp. Note: You can add little oil if required. I did not use oil as I am using non-stick tawa.
