Kilangan Fish Fry - Kilangan Meen Varuval

Kilangan Fish Fry - Kilangan Meen Varuval, this is a simple fish fry recipe that can be made using any fish varieties. We can make fish fry in many methods. In what ever method we make it, fried fish is always yummy. My kids love fish fry. This recipe is such an easy method, mix the masala powders, marinate the fish and fry it.


Kilangan Fish Fry - Kilangan Meen Varuval

Preparation Time : 45 Minutes | Cooking Time : 15 Minutes | Serves : 4

Ingredients
Kilangan Fish - 1/2 Kg
Red Chili Powder - 1 tbsp. Kg
Turmeric Powder - 1/2 tsp.
Lemon - 1 No.
Oil - For shallow frying
Salt to taste

Method
1. Clean and wash the fish.
Mix red chili powder, turmeric powder, salt and lemon juice into paste.
2. Apply the masala over the fish and marinate for about half an hour.
After half an hour, heat oil in frying pan and add the fishes and fry it on medium flame.
3. Once cooked on one side, flip it to other side and fry till the fishes are fried on both sides and color changes to golden brown. When done, transfer it to a paper towel to drain the excess oil.

Yummy Kilangan Fish Fry - Kilangan Meen Varuval is ready. It will be a heavenly combination when served with rasam rice.
