Bhindi Pakoras - Lady's Finger Fries

Bhindi Pakoras - Lady's Finger Fries, this is a crispy and tasty evening snack. It can be prepared very easily for kids returning from school. This is not the bhajji kind of snack in which we dip the veggies in the besan batter. This require comparatively less besan flour and rice flour to just coat the lady's finger along with other spices. My mother in law prepared this fry once and we all liked it. So, we got another snack to prepare for tea time on holidays.


Bhindi Pakora - Lady's Finger Fries

Preparation Time : 10 Minutes | Cooking Time : 15 Minutes | Serves : 4

Ingredients
Lady's Finger - 20 No.
Besan / Chick Pea Flour - 1/2 Cup
Rice Flour - 1/4 Cup
Red Chili Powder - 1 tsp.
Coriander Powder - 2 tsp.
Ginger Garlic Paste - 1 tsp.
Green Chili - 2 No.
Dry Red Chili - 1 No.
Asafoetida - 2 pinch
Turmeric Powder - 1/4 tsp.
Curry Leaves - 2 Sprigs
Salt to taste
Oil for deep frying

Method
1. Clean and slice the lady's finger. Click Here to know how to clean and cut the lady's Finger.
Add all the items listed under ingredients section except oil and mix well.
2. Add the lady's finger pieces to the mixed flour, sprinkle little water and mix well to coat the bhindi with masala.
3. Heat oil in a pan and deep fry the bhindi in small batches.
4. Turn and fry on all the sides on medium flame till it turns golden brown and crisp. Transfer the fried pakoras to a paper towel to absorb excess oil.

Crispy and  Tasty  Bhindi Pakoras - Lady's Finger Fries are ready to serve with hot tea or coffee.
